I need 13th birthday party ideas!?
Hi i need some ideas for a birthday party! I am going to give you some info about my self so you can figure out what i would have fun doing because i really don’t know :S I am a female – I am 13 – I am having 5 people at the party – everyone that’s coming is a girl.
I just want to let you know that i asked this once before and people told me that we should play games and have a fashion show… umm i am kinda old for that lol some of my guest are in high school. :S I was wondering what should i get for food, movies, deco, music, maybe a theme and activities.
Happy Birthday, Sag!! I’m a Sagittarius, too, my B-day is today!
I have a thirteen year old cousin, (whos’ sisters are older teens, which makes her a little more mature), I ran a few ideas by her, these are the ones we like…
Costume parties:
Skate party: Have it at a local skating rink, guests come dressed in anything retro/vintage very hip, (think bell bottoms, hot pants, (short shorts) and whistles, afros and pig-tails ect. Old style skates, (or in-line, if you must).
Marie Antoinette theme party, everyone comes in costume. Everyone loves fake jewelry, since your only having five girls, that’s great to save the budget and you can even splurge a little, For less than $10 each, get really big rhinestone stud earrings, (square is a good shape and they look like the real thing) in colors like pink or yellow from any department store on sale during the holidays.
Other parties:
Have a camp out and bonfire party, roast marshmallows (..mmm…S’MORES), tell ghost stories do girl-bonding activities, (there are a lot of ideas for these on the net). Even if it’s just a tent in your backyard, you’ll have more privacy for girl-talk and games.
Have a pool party or Hawaiian Luau! Think cookout and tiki torches, (although we’re in Florida, don’t know where you are, so it might not be so warm or sunny there).
If your budget allows it, have a Hotel party, get your parent(s) or an older girl to be your “guardian” and rent two hotel rooms which adjoin, with a door between, so the girls have their own room and space, before the party, go out to dinner and maybe a show, ask for the cutest waiter in the restaurant! Rent movies or watch pay-per-view.
Glow-In-The-Dark You’ll need to decorate with blacklights, glow in the dark stickers adn glowsticks, (these make great party favors, so does glow -in-the-dark nailpolish. Ask everyone to come in white or a white T.shirt that they don’t mind decorating, (or you can buy some at the dollar general or other discount store, just plain white Tees), decorate them with glow-in-the-dark markers, you can sign each other’s shirts!
Watch trippy movies or scary movies.
You should plan a meal or order take-out, unless you only want to serve cake, let your guests know what your having in case they have special diets or they need to eat dinner before the party, (or so they know if you’re serving food, they won’t eat before the party).
Don’t forget snacks and drinks..
Hope this helps! Happy Happy B-day!!!
