Besides the name, what is the difference between all the Law and Order television?
Law and Order covers a crime (in General assassinated) and the Commission of Inquiry through the trial and verdict. You'll almost always see a court scene. Law and Order: SVU is based on sex crimes or crimes involving children. There is an ADA in the game, but you do not receive a trial in each episode. Law & Order: CI focuses on more serious crimes and crimes involving important people. The crimes and motivations are more complex, as is the investigation. They end usually a confession. There is very little legal procedure involved.
